Jim Rohn said that poor people have big TVs and rich people have big libraries. The goal was to emphasize the importance of independent education and taking responsibility for one's life.
I didn't read much during school. I watched a lot of TV, and after watching cartoons and movies, books seemed too boring. In the last 5-10 years, I read a lot more books and watch a lot less TV. As time goes by, everything seems to pass faster and faster. That's why I don't want to spend it on irrelevant and stupid things. Only when you start reading do you realize how little you know. Only then do you realize that you choose the direction in which your life goes. You cannot blame your boss, nor a politician, nor a co-worker who gossips about you. A lot of it is a matter of understanding. And it's hard to understand where you're going wrong when you're focused on content that has the sole purpose of pointless entertainment. I'm not saying that everyone doesn't need pointless entertainment. You need that sometime. But the problem arises when this is the majority of the content we consume. Then we blame others because we don't understand that we can only blame ourselves. Read the book Rich dad, poor dad. It pays off. You will blame yourself and you will be glad. Because then you will know that you are the person who can improve your life.

Primitive man has an antagonism towards knowledge.

Primitive man despises knowledge.

Primitive man thinks that knowledge hinders his free thinking.

The whores of the media and "experts" are talking nonsense again, this time with even less basis in reality.
Just google it and you'll see that this virus has no potential for a pandemic.
And that the situation is almost 100% under control as far as the carriers on the ship are concerned.
Literally a non-event.
It's really tiring that those who should be responsible, smart and moral have to be constantly corrected with common sense and two minutes of Googling.
Of course, if they manage to cause panic again, it will be a different story - because everything always depends on those who demand harsh measures, on the citizens.
There are many who would rather sit at home and get paid, while the world goes in the wrong direction, and they signal virtue.
Let's see if we can pass an intelligence test for once :)

When we in the Balkans decided
to go to war, we did it
so that we don't bother others. Because of us petrol and gas did not increase in price,
food did not become more expensive, there was no
terrorism, there were no cancelled flights.
Inflation was minimal.
Nobody canceled their
vacation because of us.
We were killing each other
within our "four walls".
We were real gentlemen compared to these
assholes today!!!

It is interesting how many highly educated people and those with many years of schooling do not possess emotional intelligence or the power of critical thinking and questioning.

It is as if many years of schooling dull a person and turn him into an obedient robot.

Lest anyone misunderstand me, I am not against a high level of schooling and education, but in that process it is extremely important to keep your own opinion, think critically, doubt, question, research independently and not take anything as a universal truth.

Because the mind is like a parachute - it functions best when it is open...

Dumb, dumber, Europe

Harakiri or as the Japanese more commonly call it seppuku has long been abolished…

It was an act of atonement for great mistakes, cowardice or a violation of the bushido code (the samurai code of honor)…

The myth lives on…

A great European nation is on its way to kneeling in a ritual position…

Of course, I am exaggerating…

Germany has managed to make a civilizational somersault that is rarely seen - from a country that designed gas pipelines through half the continent to a country that checks its own citizens' canisters at the border because they went to get fuel in a neighboring country…

Once technology exporters, today gasoline importers in the trunk…

Historical progress, nothing like that…

After years of building an energy system that worked, then dismantling it themselves because it became politically unsuitable, closing nuclear plants because it seemed moral, quarreling with unsuitable suppliers because it seemed principled, and finally deciding that they would guide their energy strategy according to advice from America, they have now reached the stage where the state is persecuting its own drivers for twenty liters of diesel...

Of course, the culprit is not politics...

The culprit is the man who wants to get to work without taking out a fuel loan...
The culprit is the driver who dared to cross the border...
The culprit is the market because it is not behaving properly...
The culprit is the war, the weather, the climate, the stock market, the Russians, Iran, the Strait of Hormuz, everything except decisions made with conferences, applause and moral speeches...

It is especially sad to see how a country that has lectured others about rational economics for decades now has no one at its gas stations and queues on the other side of the border, while customs checks canisters as if it were smuggling gold, and not an attempt to drive a few kilometers longer and under two euros per liter...

A calming message comes from Berlin...

Chancellor Friedrich Merz, full of his own political nothingness, reveals to the nation that prices would be lower than 2.50 euros per liter of diesel on the highway if the war were to end...

And that the best and cheapest fuel is to fill up between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM…
Filling up early in the morning is expensive…
And then comes a scene that would be tragically funny if it weren't real…

Vladimir calls from Moscow and says that there is gas, there is oil, the pipes existed, the partnership existed, and that Russia is ready to sell energy again to those who want normal cooperation without political theater…

In other words - the fuel exists, but the problem is that it is the wrong fuel, from the wrong country, at the wrong time, for the wrong ideology…

And now we have a perfect picture of 21st century Europe: gas pipelines destroyed, nuclear power plants shut down, fuel the most expensive, industry is moving, customs is counting canisters, and politicians are waiting for 'signals from the capitals' while citizens are already sending a signal - standing in line at the gas station in Poland…

If this was a strategy, then it is ingenious…

If not - it is even more ingenious…

Goethe's country can and must do better…

How to recognize AI text? 🕵️

Not by content. 📝

Not by excessive use of icons. 🎯

But by style. This kind. Cretinous. Every sentence is short and meaningful. Every thought is profound. The idiots are shocked — the midwits are confused — the em dash is overused.

When you see this style of writing, one thing is clear. The content is inaccurate — the author is unintelligent — the AI is incapable of filling in the gaps in ideas bigger than the ideas themselves.

And finally, a generic encouragement to think — let that sink in.
