@nprofile1q... As someone who is majoring in the field I try out many local models, I sometimes get access to the "we have reached AGI models" from University. The code that comes out of it often looks correct and it often enough compiles and does the thing you want. But when you actually dive in you find a lot of mistakes, often enough errors. I try it with things I am familiar with, creating small games, writing a parser, etc. I actually think that producing code is the worst use-case for AI.
@nprofile1q... Absolutely. If you just want to play games you totally don’t use the latest stuff. My PC from 2014 still runs fine!! Sure I upgraded to 32gb of ram (ddr3) once and also bought an rtx 2070 in 2020 (?). The rest is from 2014. But if you want to do serious computing, which I want to do for my masters degree, it sucks.

Anstatt mal *ernsthaft* irgendwas anzugehen, frickelt man an solchen Dingen rum und bringt dabei noch die Leute gegen sich auf, weil man einfach nur krass arrogant rueberkommt.

Was writing a debug shader pass to show an internal texture on the screen for debugging. Lots of annoying plumbing to just whack a texture on the screen.
And then I thought - wait, I wonder if ImGui ...

@nprofile1q... You can also easily access the model files as the pak file is just a regular zip. So you can learn from them. There should be a Ghoul 2 importer for Blender, I think?
