I think the Terminator movies were the better outcome. I am not a doomer, but if I was, I would notice that we are not very far with robots, skeletons, etc., but AI is much smarter than 80% of humans....
AI by itself will not synthesize DNA, unless some greedy and/or irresponsible entity allows for direct ordering of samples AND said AI has the ability to interact with the physical world autonomously

The programmability of CBDC, at least in the EU doesn't seem to be anywhere on the agenda, so those fears are probably highly exagerated. Given the digital EURO will allow offline transactions, the restrictions people talk about are probably pure speculation.
Commercial banks all do overcompliance, so there is no environment where they would refuse to provide information when asked, so I do not see them as safe harbours for my data.
