Pretty small for intervention. Matches the small pump in BTC, so this feels more like market participants collectively realizing Warsh can’t hike. But that could just be the timing of my podcast listening.

Katayama/MOF did say they won’t be telegraphing interventions anymore, but they weren’t really telegraphing before either, just a lot of jawboning. So are they saying no more jawboning? That itself just feels like more jawboning. Would the market really take the ‘announcement of no more announcements’ so seriously?

Not sensationalist at all. It is THE greatest vulnerability. Network decentralization is pointless if all the participants are jacked into the Matrix (Musk’s or otherwise).
