@nprofile1q... I also think the pros who need to make things quickly & repeatably mostly moved on to using software synths.
Most studios I've seen lately have very minimal rack-mounted gear in general, be it instruments or effects.
The market just isn't really there for rack-mounted hardware synths I guess. The enthusiast wants a keyboard in front of them and the more practically-minded professional uses a plugin.
Predicting the next step in programming: a specialized prompting language that takes away the ambiguity of genAI. With a handful of powerful commands you can assume full control over what your app does.
Iterating has never been easier. Instead of generating new code, you just make changes to what you've written.
Amazing! No more guessing why your app doesn't do what you want. You'll be so productive!
@nprofile1q... I'll watch the video first before I say much more about it, but yeah totally.
It would be so sad if people aren't doing what they love because they think they'll not "make it big" or whatever. Do it anyway! It's good for your mind, it's good for your soul. Not that I really believe souls are real, but you know what I mean hahah
@nprofile1q... yeah, I can't imagine how much all of this must suck. All while also being told "there is no budget" for the most basic of facilities, even though the rest of the western world (and beyond) doesn't seem to struggle to offer their citizens at least some of the basics. Maddening!
