🌞Woke up thinking about Bitcoin and self custody again.

“Don’t trust, verify” has been haunting me. The reality is that many of us still have to trust wallet makers, exchanges, and Bitcoin companies.

My heart goes out to everyone who had their Bitcoin stolen. The thieves are responsible for the crime. The company bears responsibility for its failures. I also take responsibility for the trust I placed in them.

If we want to onboard millions more Bitcoiners, we must keep making self custody simpler, safer, and more resilient.

The Bitcoin world I want to live in is built on respect, self sovereignty, personal responsibility, and continuous improvement.

Like a phoenix, Bitcoiners will rise.
