First time I've watched TV in months and fuck it's enraging.

The way the mainstream media gaslight and lie to us.
The way they are trying to justify genocide because our taxes fund it

Not just a bannable offence, in Australia displaying prohibited symbols in public carries prison time under new "anti Semitic hate speech" legislation https://m.primal.net/PhWS.png

Well, not necessarily carbs, but insulin. You can get an insulin boost by gorging on steak too. And I believe that periodically raised insulin is indeed healthy - if not for muscle growth, then for so...

That's not how insulin works at all.

Insulin is a hormone that your body uses to transfer glucose from your blood into your muscles for energy.
You get glucose (sugar) in your blood from eating foods that contain sugars or carbohydrates (which break down into sugars when you eat them)

Insulin response in normal healthy people depends on blood sugar levels.

Ketosis is the opposite effect that you get from not eating sugars for an extended period and your body burns fats and lipids instead of sugars for its primary energy source.

Let me convince you otherwise with facts and logic, lol. Facilitating glucose transport one of insulin's responsibilities in the body. But it's a kind of "macro hormone", doubling also as a general growth factor (stimulating protein sythesis) and electrolyte metabolism regulator (among others). Sou...

Longer fasts -> Less fat mass -> More muscle mass 💪
name profile picture
Not exactly.
Really depends on what you are eating between fasts and what types of exercise you do.

If you just sit around not eating all day then break fast with sugary garbage and excess carbs you'll end up with less muscle and you may look like you've lost fat but chances are the fat has just moved to your organs instead of your muscles.

You gotta have an active lifestyle and eat healthy between fasts to lose fat without losing muscle.

And if you want bigger muscles you gotta eat more to sustain them.

I’m speaking strictly for myself here. With the training I do and what I eat. Smaller eating window doesn’t mean eating less for me. I eat what I need to fuel myself. My muscle mass is going up while my fat mass is going down
