Started the new year with intention to “drink less.” Didn’t want to put pressure on ‘finality.’ Basically, just do better. Honestly, had my first couple drinks on Friday night and gotta say, I didn’t like how I felt less ‘in control’ even after just two.

I don’t think this is possible for the U.S. from a geographical standpoint. We would need to bring our Sea Lift capacity to that of WWII and that may not even be enough Naval Sea Power to confront China.

I think being honest with yourself is a healthy way to go about a new year. So I commend you for that and I agree with you too. I think my “epiphany” on this subject occurred a couple months ago when I saw how much the guberment(s) and big institutions were piling in. They’ll never let it get too volatile now, and they’ll never let it “get out of hand” at those higher levels - so speak. But then I look at a chart of the most expensive stonk I can think of (BRK.A) and say, “why can’t it at least get to those levels…”they” let BRK get there?” So I still have hope, but I’m caping that hope a lot lower now.
