In terms of general opinions, there are always aspects of the past that prevent you from a having a completely distinct worldview. In the 90s, there was still a leftover chunk of the social contract between man and government and you could still remember farther back when it was more true.

Boomers hatred has very specific reasons because it was a bit of a watershed moment. Anyway, unless in 30 years we'll metagame away the being human part completely and become some kind of network-enabled bug hive, saying "wow, people X years back were dumb" is retarded social posturing and always will be.

@Phantasm What about wrapping each application in a bwrap container? Set library paths the way a program expects, bundle glibc, etc. The "binary" is then a script file that sets everything up and calls the rest
