Nostr just happens to be adjacent to Bitcoin. Nostr and Bitcoin work together, but they're not mutually exclusive.

I wish more people would adopt open technologies like Nostr, Bitcoin, even Ethereum and its ecosystem.

I tried NWC with Minibits and it doesn't work as well as other Lightning wallets, does Cashu just have limitations that prevent it from working that well with NWC?

Mastodon and bsky still have the issue where the owners of whatever server you made your account with can still wipe out your account. On Nostr you hold your keys, and you can spread your posts across multiple servers to avoid one server being able to end your existence
