I think Nostr solves both, developers can make things to benefit the platform as a whole and it’s easy for anyone to host a server

Sadly Nostr’s association with Bitcoin and some other accusations prevent it from becoming mainstream

Yep... also makes it easier to for a bitcoin user who might not want anything to do with dollars to send btc that shows up as dollars for a cashapp user who might not yet want anything to do with bitc...

@Blitz Wallet has a pretty good stablecoin feature too, although they support Optimism and Base in addition to SOL/ETH/ARB/POL

They also support Tether as well as Circle

Miles from Cash App did say that stablecoins are more of a stopgap, and in my opinion Cash App has the best Bitcoin exchange experience in the US

I modified the compose files from the Umbrel Apps repo for @Sirius's Nostr VPN so you can run it on any server

Keep in mind that if Nostr VPN has an update you'll have to change the version number in your compose file manually since there's no "latest" tag on that image sadly
