For a lot of my life, I treated my feelings by extremes. Either they were facts, or pointless.

Either my feelings of jealousy mean you are definitely cheating on me, or that's just an insecure feeling and nothing is wrong.

Recovery showed me that my feelings are valid dashboard lights. They can't tell me exactly what's going on, but they do tell me there is something important I need to look into.

Reacting or stuffing my feelings leads me to harm. I need to use them well.

Whenever I get to that point, I then get frustrated because there's no consistency in sizing and half the stuff I order doesn't fit.

Sometimes I get relief by making clothes. There are some tutorials that are easy enough for me for things like big flowy skirts and salwar pants. Tunic tops.

Never have had much success making clothes from patterns. Dunno why. I follow the instructions but they never fit right.

Right now I'm on a men's cargo pants kick, so it's been a few years.

@nprofile1q... That's exactly what I hate about Big Bang Theory. There is plenty of hilarious material in the gulf between nerds and those who are not, but they bypassed all of that to just punch the nerds.

You read it in text, right? The audiobook is astonishing. The redacted bits are annoying, but they do season the story well.

@nprofile1q... Oh yeah. If not for the lawsuit, they would have been ridiculed only among his current fans. By escalating, they poked the bear, and the bear has got national attention. You know by now Lemon Pound Cake is a nickname catching on in lots of places. Every PD has at least one guy like that guy.
