Prompting sound effects for my game has made me appreciate sound design a bit more, especially in all the games that I used to play as a kid. you don’t think about it, but many of the sounds we hear...
100%. Nothing beats a weirdo running around with a microphone, recording the most bizarre of objects, EQing out the noise, applying plugins to shape a completely new sound, or synthesizing everything from scratch. Appreciation where it's due.
People should never change their pictures. Once they change their pictures I completely lose track of who they were.

The opposite of ''hard'' doesn't have to necessarily be ''easy''. It can also be soft as in child's play, the soft focus of being curious, having an open mind, the joy metric of wonder, discovering something exciting, fascinating & new, making mistakes, learning through breaking things and embarrassing yourself, falling into the void abyss of public relays and picking yourself up again...
Stepping into the unknown is like a micro death.
