We have some of the most based people from the skittle squad. You can immediately tell by the fact we don't flood our feed with gay shit. Most of the folk here have been in or around the LGBTQIA+ community but have chosen not to identify as such finding it to be cringe.

You really ought to write a blog post on epistemic heuristics and the impact that it has on moderating communities @nprofile1q.... I've known for a while what it was through observing cause and effect, but never really knew the proper terminology for it until recently. A lot of interactions suddenly made a whole lot of sense afterward in retrospect.

If it wasn't for the dogmatic adherence to GNU philosophy then I would have probably pivoted to Guix already. People are that deep in their ideology that the Nonguix repository emphasize it should be used as a last resort and that the repository should not be discussed in official channels. Imagine being so free that you circle back to being overbearingly authoritarian by not letting people pick what they want to use.

Was never my intention to insinuate that you, personally were. Just plainly stating my opinion that I don't believe these two ideologies can map cleanly on to economic models.
