@nprofile1q... I don't really care about the cast. I tend to like Nolan movies but in this review, I think he's hit on the basic problem, a lack of emotions. This works really well for something like the Dark Knight et al, where the lead is a cipher. It works well in Memento where the lead has no contact with his memories. Maybe it works less well in this.

I do some writing in renoise, especially drum sequences. It's just really good for that since it's qwerty centered and jumps can be set via ctrl‐[0‐9].

These days I load up a synth vst/clap get annoyed and create what I want much more quickly in polymer or the grid. The problem with the grid is you can't do feedback without a minor delay and it's CPU intensive.
