@nprofile1q... Hmm. Overall deaths are the one stat it's hard to flub. A quick search says the murder rate in the UK is down, which is an easy statistic to mold.
If you import people as adults from countries where health is poor, surely they would bring their life expectancy with them and maybe increase it a little because of the better health care. If you house this new population, then the native inhabitants have fewer options.
