There are soooooo many things that AI will help with to make it easier to become more sovereign *if you want*.

I think about all the apps on an umbrel or start9 that someone like me with zero technical knowledge could only dream of using before. Now I’ll have the AI to help me set up and monitor things like lightning channels, self hosted home security, e cash, and so much more.

I’m wildly bullish on AI bringing back sovereignty to the common man.

That’s why I don’t love the Whoop. It basically shames you into removing all social or “enjoyable” activity.

While we shouldn’t be doing those activities every night, I think the Whoop now makes it easier to decline friends or otherwise enjoyable activities to preserve a number on a screen.

Great point But I think early dinners are great and you can still gather with friends at 5 or 6 and abstain from alcohol or dessert and still be asleep by 10

Agreed. Also for athletes, not sure its very helpful. People obsess over this stuff. When I was living and breathing powerlifting, going into a workout knowing I wasn't at 100% recovery would mess with my performance. And if it was a PR attempt day, forget about it. I got a start9 with a shit ton of memory space and migrated my bitcoin node to it. Now I have an umbrel with nothing on it.

Even though I’m a level 0 with technical skills, I’m kinda pumped to actually start looking into some of these open source self hosted apps. Something I would have never dreamed of doing not that long ago.

Anyone got recommendations?
