agents can't kyc but their owners can and just give it their credit card and boom now it can buy anything on existing infrastructure, no Bitcoin required

no, I'm much more keen on seeing humans adopt the money than coping and pushing a new narrative 🤷

That’s a clusterfuck nightmare though that is possible but not scalable the way fast final settlement TXs are. That said, I do think in the short term it’s just good old fashioned over-hyped influencer bull-porn.

But what about agents that don't have "owners" or anyone that would do that for it? What about child agents? What about autonomous agents kicked off by a dead person?

I think the idea is, that once bots are interacting and paying each other for shit, the actions they will take will be much faster and more frequent than anything humans would do. The settlement time of CC and receiver permissions would make it worse than lightning.

I wouldn’t trust an agent with my credit card and spending limit seems like an issue. At least with a wallet there’s a max amount to be spent. It may be more likely stable coins are used since they have more lobbying and marketing behind them tho

The cope is there because ppl think if agents start to use one currency then network effects sink in and we won't have another shot. This is false FUD. It will be easy to switch once the current system is shaken. Until then I also think all kinds of stable coins and whatnot will dominate this scen...
