Thanks for sharing the secret ingredient! I am not surprised either, as we recently followed a recipe from our butcher for a big roast we cooked. It included dumping an entire jar of pepperoncinis in it ๐ณ But it turned out really good (I think slightly less than the whole jar would have been optimal, as it was a bit too sour by a hair, imo), so I could see where you're going with this.
