Thanks for sharing the secret ingredient! I am not surprised either, as we recently followed a recipe from our butcher for a big roast we cooked. It included dumping an entire jar of pepperoncinis in it ๐Ÿ˜ณ But it turned out really good (I think slightly less than the whole jar would have been optimal, as it was a bit too sour by a hair, imo), so I could see where you're going with this.

A whole jar does sound extreme, especially without any sweetness to balance the sour. But yes, generally, the vinegar is so delish with the strong umami of the dish. You could try adding a lil sugar next time too. Idk might work a treat. I am enjoying the sunny days the most ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚
