Bitcoin Standard for Polish Central Bankers

Over the past weeks, we have been delivering ‚The Bitcoin Standard’ by @Saifedean Ammous to Polish MPs and the President of Poland to help deepen the public conversation about Bitcoin.

Today, we expanded the initiative by sending a copy of the book to every member of the Management Board of Narodowy Bank Polski (NBP) — Poland’s central bank.

Each book was accompanied by an open letter encouraging NBP to launch a controlled, educational‑operational Bitcoin pilot.

Bitcoin Standard dla Prezydenta Polski 🇵🇱

W ramach kontynuacji projektu „Standard Bitcoina w polskim Parlamencie” wysłaliśmy list otwarty, oraz egzemplarz The Bitcoin Standard autorstwa @Saifedean Ammous, bezpośrednio do Prezydenta Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej.

@Gracjan Pietras and @marcinliszka , our colleagues from the Polish Bitcoin community, have authored a report for Open Dialogue Foundation on the impact of EU and FATF regulations and policies on non-custodial wallets. According to the report, these forthcoming regulations and policies are likely to marginalize EU CASPs and pose a significant threat to the privacy of EU citizens. The full report is available here:
