I knew I was going to love being a dad. After all, everyone and their mother (literally) tells you how much you're going to love it once your wife gets pregnant. You hear more cliches about fatherhood...

Nice words, I really like it too now. However, I wouldnt romantize it too much. The first year of our first child I would tell everyone how horrible it was to have kids (bad nights, losing your sex life, wife going back to work, financial presure) lol

I've developed several theories about the anti-spam / BIP-110 movement: 1) The entire thing was cooked up by Luke + Mechanic as a marketing mechanism to get free press for OCEAN and thus gain more ma...

@Jameson Lopp for the noobs here, could you point us towards the arguments that back the case for raising the OP_RETURN limit in v30? I am trying to follow the discussion in good faith, but apart from putting jpegs on the BTC network (which I am not sure is the right way to go) no one is yelling anywhere why it would be a good thing, only that the other side is bad. Thanks in advance!

From the outside it just doesnt make a lot of sense to wanting to be able to store lots of non-monetary data on the hardest money blockchain. If your data shows that it doesnt happen a lot, lets just shut it off before it becomes an attack vector to the network.

I also can understand how it comes in waves, as it is more like a meme/altcoin type of activity where people pump and dump their jpeg projects for a few months and move on. Not sure if we want to bring ETH-shenanigans to BTC.
