Public platforms and actors = censorship

Private platforms have the right to moderate. Moderation will increase on nostr as well. It is just that nostr is the innovation to separate identity from a specific moderator.

From a purely strategic sense. Violence feeds violence. Any violence that can be avoided gives makes the road shorter to a peaceful co-existence of Russia and Ukraine in the future.

Diversity and competition , relays and clients can try things and follow visions freely without having the responsibility of the network that a centralized company have.

Multiple different solutions can co exists while keeping a network effect together.

I think you are right that bitcoin should be for money. But not because it was the original intent, fuck Satoshi, kill your heroes, it should be money because i belive that is where it will do the biggest positive impact on the world.

Yes we can not stop it, nor should we. But are you as exited about a future with a bitcoin blockhains full of rich people's jpegs as opposed to a future with a blockchain full off developing world people's channel open and close transactions?

To me it higligt that bitcoins utility is threatened by global inequality.
