@nprofile1q... I wouldn't exempt anything, depends whose Jag that is and why they were going that fast. Still, seeing the butcher's apron flying does make me feel slightly less sympathetic.
@nprofile1q... I remember that many a pub I've known in the past were burned down intentionally to claim on the insurance, guess this is a variant of it?
@nprofile1q... Productivity will always be limited if the results of increased productivity are more and more sucked upwards, let's just call it an engineered crisis.
@nprofile1q... Is it? It's only a good step if it's purely optional and opportunities are made available that actually accommodate for disabilities. Most folk don't want the insistence of work even on a voluntary basis because it's a reminder of the constant push to get them into work they've been experiencing since they were first diagnosed.
@nprofile1q... A "right to try"? What's that supposed to mean, is it like the "right to work" thing in the US which works more like a "right to fire at will" for the employer? I figure "right to try" is veiled "you need to do this or your benefits will be stopped".
@nprofile1q... Blue badges have long been a target, petty little people thinking everyone's on the blag for the sake of a parking spot closer to the entrance. Nobody ever seems to concern themselves with why there's so many people in need of a blue badge, only to limit the count available.
@nprofile1q... Still need them to not be psychotic neolibs though, having more female identifying folk is good but not if they're just doing the same thing the men before them did.
